Eph. 4:4-6 - There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.So often Christians get so critical about the differences between denominations that we don't take the tame to enjoy and praise their similarities. We forget that while we may differ on issues about the plan of salvation, the endurance of God's saving grace, or when and how we think Jesus will return, we are still very similar when it comes to the basics. When it comes down to it, we all worship the same God. We all trust in the same Jesus as our savior.

Hi Adam,
The last time we saw each other we were in the city.
Just wanted to leave you with a response to your devotional.
The verse describes G-d and how He's all in all.
It seems difficult for me to understand how such a loving G-d could let something like the Virginia Tech incident to happen.
Justice will be served and I'm glad I'm not G-d.
Hello Meg,
Have we met before? If so I apologize that I do not recall your name, perhaps you could remind me.
I can understand how such evil in the world can make us doubt G-d's love. However, G-d has given us free will: the ability to choose our actions. He has done this so that when we do choose to love Him, it is a pure unforced love. Unfortunately with the potential for so much good, comes with the regrettable potential for so much evil; those who can choose to love G-d can choose to hate Him, love themselves, or idolize whatever they wish. This can lead to the tragic circumstances that have occurred at Virginia Tech. I agree with you that I do not envy G-d's position as judge, but I have faith that He will do so in a perfect manner. All we can do is pray for the victims and their families and that there may be good that comes from this tragedy. I pray a;sp that my few and humble words may help your reconciling of G-d's love and this horrible, offensive time.
Adam
